I have a passion for furniture, decorating, landscaping — in RL as well as SL. Most of my passion is very conceptual — I’m an admirer and appreciater, not so much a do-er, especially in RL. In SL, I truly am amazed at what can be done with some basic building shapes, some awesome textures, and a ton of creativity. I started this blog to spotlight the places I find that make me go ‘ooh!’ and sometimes take my breath away.
Since starting the blog in 2007, I’ve opened my own furniture/decor shop (also named Second Spaces), and also opened a poses/animations shop (Pulling Strings). I will use the blog to promote my own items, of course, and will always continue to use it to share with my readers all the great things I find in SL. No single designer in SL, no matter how prolific, can have it all, so it’s important to me to be able to contribute my corner of the internet as a gathering place for those looking for the best there is in design.
Wanna check out my stuff? OK!

Hi Elle – I cannot tell you how long I have been looking for blog like yours that highlights home and living, rather than fashion. Fashion blogs are abundant, but home and living blogs are few and far between!
Great features – bookmarking for future reference
Hello Elle,
What I like most about the SecondSpaces blog is that does exactly what it should — getting people excited about the things you write about.
Thank you for the humourous anecdotal style too. Keep it keep it working.

PS: While reading my submission please bear in mind the idea that we have never met before

Hi, Elle!
I just found your blog a couple of hours ago, and I’m so glad that I did! My partner and I just bought our first home and land a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve spent many hours trying to find the perfect furniture and home accents for it. I’ve been searching high and low for a blog just like this one, and hadn’t been able to find any that were done independantly. I wish I had seen this sooner! I just started my own last night, and here I found yours today- ha! I can’t wait to go through your archives and check out some of the slurls. I’ve already seen a few pictures of some couches and lighting that I’m dying to check out once I get off work.
My blog is http://secondhomes.wordpress.com/, and I’m going to link yours on my blog roll right now.
Take care, and thanks for the awesome blog. I hope I can do half as good of a job as it looks like you’ve done.

Hello,
I’d appreciate if you can give me some feedback on our site: http://www.regencyshop.com
I realize that you are home decor-Contemporary Furniture connoisseur
I’d like to hear your opinion/feedback on our products. Also, it’d be swell if you can place our link on your blog.
Thank you,
Sean
I love your site. Keep it up !
Wow – i just stumbled upon this site and I have to agree Aki; there are not to many sites dedicated to interior design and landscaping. I am interior designer, who designs furniture in Sl. And I must say, it is probably one the most over looked design areas in Sl. Most of us, if not all, have either brought land with the intent in making our virtual living space one of a kind; which requires furniture, homes, and landscaping. I am looking forward to what your blog will feature and inspire other Interior/exterior Artists in the virtual community to create!

Skybox with atmosphere. I’m looking for a skybox that has rain, like the one on the following link. She mentioned JAS, but i don’t know what that is. any ideas? Thank you.
