*Designer Spotlight* Maximum Minimum

Maximum Minimum – owned by Maximilian Milosz – is another shop that’s definitely not new to SL, and not new to me, and is a spot that everyone in SL should know about! I found MaxMin (just easier to type 🙂 ) way back when — just after I’d gotten over my newbie-ness and was really starting to understand the joys there are to find in SL. I am a big fan of mid-century modern — I can’t say I know a heck of a lot about it, but I know what I like 😉 — and I know as much as I’ve been able to learn from my Design Within Reach catalogs, which is a good foundation of knowledge. 🙂 Maximilian has beautifully created for SL the items that I am most drawn to in those catalogs that show up at least once a month. Behold:

Eames Lounge & Ottoman, which i vow to own in RL some day!!!

That’s the Noguchi Table shown with the Marshmallow Sofa – another of my favorites.

There is so much more to be seen at Max Min – you have to see for yourself. In addition to furniture, Max has some of the most amazing pre-fabs ever, situated outside and around the shop. Also, upstairs is the art gallery of Filthy Fluno (aka Jeffrey Lipsky), which is definitely worth a look.

Maximum Minimum – go see!

Make sure to say hello to Dolly when you walk in. 🙂
