I was happy to see that Yelo Uriza of ARIA is back to designing! She sent me her Nina Living Room set to check out – ARIA has always been great for modern pieces, and this is a nice, clean-lines room with a great color palette. I love the pops of color in the poufs and the awesome chandelier.

I also received a review folder from Adham Decuir of [adham decuir] homes. Adham is a new-to-me builder; he’s just got a few houses out so far, also very modern in style, and very well done in mesh with gorgeous baked shadows and lighting.

I like ’em. What’s also interesting is that Adham offers his houses with full perms. He also provides the shadow maps with the full perm houses, so it would be easy to create your own textures without losing any of the shadows and lights. Be sure to read over the full perm license, but it’s certainly an interesting idea!

Home Expo Goodness – part 5

So, I’ve only covered 3 of the 10 Home Expo sims, and I’m already at part 5 for blogging. That tells us two things: 1) there is SO MUCH AWESOME at Home Expo, and 2) I need to get moving so I can finish the other 7 sims before Expo ends on Sunday!

Awesome Blossom – designer Clementine Ishtari really has the knack for super precious and cozy prefabs. I love everything about her new house that’s available at Expo, and especially love that the bedroom is raised for a slight loft feel…those are the little details that make me squee!

Spruce Up Your Space – February wrap-up!

It’s the final weekend of our February SUYS event! This weekend, we wrap up this month’s theme of “Cupid’s House” – our designers were asked to envision what Cupid’s off-hours space looks like – maybe he’s a slob, maybe he’s into a bit of kink, maybe he’s homeless! A different set of designers will be releasing their items each weekend in February, at discounted prices for that weekend only!

Once again, we have awesome designers releasing awesome stuff! Each week, I’m surprised and amazed all over again at what our creative and talented designers come up with! Just a quick holiday post — there’s still time for more decorating! Yelo Uriza of ARIA Interior Design sent me a nice note and LM for her shop, so I popped over to check out her holiday items, and I found these super adorable holiday rabbits! You should definitely put these in someone’s stocking this Christmas! [hint: mine]

Yelo also has some really cute actual stockings — some of which include bunnies. 🙂 These would be great on your mantel…they’d also make great giftboxes!
