I’d hang out here all summer, really.

Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea has an amazing new picnic set at this month’s FaMESHed - the Cassie Backyard Barbecue set. It’s all you need to throw an awesome backyard bash – the table, the grill, the pool, the cooler of soda, and the food. THE FOOD.

Those burgers look so real! And the hot dogs with their grill marks! And the cheese! THAT CHEESE. ♥ Mouth-watering. 3d food printer, anyone?

I love committing to a theme. This room is a mash-up of two sets available now at FaMESHed: you’ve got a super cute bedroom from Tegan Serin and floorplan., and then there’s a  classic office from fri.home, which is a collaboration between Tegan and Darling Monday of fri.day. You know what I love best about their collaboration — aside from the awesome furniture? The fact that floorplan. stuff and fri.home stuff goes so well together – it’s like a megastore that just happens to be split between two locations. Or some other analogy that is more profound. Your choice.

I desperately want a shabby old card catalog in RL. 3-d printer, anyone?

I love the books-as-headboard idea – from a distance, it looks sorta artsy and geometric, and it’s only up close that you realize ‘oh hey – books!”. I like that. And I predict that little book on the nightstand, the one with the pages formed into a heart, is going to become one of my favorite decorating accents. Love.

A new kitchen from Cory Edo and Trompe Loeil – the Retro Kitchen – available in, like, a trillion colors. A trillion gorgeous colors. This color is candy pink and it’s my #1 favorite. ♥

The Retro Kitchen (available right now at FaMESHed) comes with a rezzer to give you an easy set up like the one above, plus you also get standalone versions of each cabinet and appliance, so you can build your own configuration. That’s good planning right there.

I love the shine that Cory gets on her metal accents, and I totally love how she uses her brand as, well, as a brand. :) I also prefer a fully stocked cabinet, and Cory includes a bunch of plates and glasses and whatnot – color coordinated, of course – to make it easy to achieve that lived-in look.

My music soulmate, Tegan Serin of floorplan., recently released the adorable Apothecary Chest you can see under the windows. This one is for all your favorite teas.

And that’s my new favorite chandelier, courtesy of Rayvn Hynes and MudHoney. I love the shape of it and all the little dangly details! It’s also available in several colors, so be sure to check it out!

There’s a gorgeous new dining room from Rayvn Hynes and MudHoney, available now at this month’s FaMESHed. This is the Ryan Dining set – it’s modern without being cold, with a great pop of color in that red sideboard.

My absolute favorite bit is the table top – I lovelovelove its irregularities and organic rawness. (Note: that may be the most pretentious-sounding description ever recorded on this blog, but I totally mean it. NO APOLOGIES.) But seriously – look at that gorgeous wood and its organic rawness! (There it is again.)

Those chairs are pretty friggin’ awesome, too – great textures. ♥
