The truth is out there.

We’re about halfway through this round of TLC’s The Garden and its Area 51 theme. There is so much spacey goodness that you need to check out – truly, all the designs are out of this world (because aliens)!

In the picture, we’ve got the Roswell Caravan from Isla Gealach and Cheeky Pea, and the UFO from Tya Fallingbridge and Pixel Mode. That caravan is just perfect — all the little cabinets inside and a messy little sleeping bunk – exactly what you need for your next UFO-tracking excursion. The UFO is actually meant to be attached and worn so that you can go floating around in your own little UFO, which is the height of preciousness. It’s pretty heavy in land impact, so you may not want to rez it, like, forever…but hell, what do I know about what you want to do? YOU DO WHAT YOU WANT.

There is truly so much goodness coming out of the home/decor world these days that I just can’t keep up. I will continue to make feeble attempts, though. That’s all I can promise.

There are two new stores that you must check out. There’s .encore. by Alixxbella Resident, which has opened strong with a lot of cute, shabby chic pieces, and a ton of really great rugs. I’m always looking for great rugs. And there’s also Seven Emporium by Agustkov Resident, which is filled with really cool, quirky, eclectic, unexpected items, all very well done in mesh. I’m very excited to see what comes next from both of these shops!

That oh-so-comfy couch is new from Isla Gealach and Cheeky Pea, and available right now at The Men’s Dept. The chair – which I’m so happy about because I totally lovelovelove that style – is from Winter Thorn and {what next}, and is available right now at The Garden. Speaking of Seven Emporium, the ON AIR and APPLAUSE signs are from that shop, and of all the quirky wonderfulness that Agustkov has available, I think those two signs are my absolute favorites. Expect to see them used A LOT in my pics. Speaking of multiple uses, I think I just used that cattle skull in a pic a week or so again…and I do try not to repeat items too often, but I don’t think I could love that skull any more. ♥ It’s perfect for all occasions.

Home Expo 2013 is almost over. It goes so fast! I’m scrambling to show you what I can while it’s still open, but I’m sure all the designers will move their Expo items to their main stores, so no worries about missing out!

You definitely don’t want to miss out on this gorgeous prefab from Isla Gealach and Cheeky Pea – the Gale Cottage. It’s a nice open floorplan, and there’s really quite a bit of space in here for a simple layout. I love the stairs and the open loft up top. Combined with the lovely soaring windows, it really feels nice and airy inside. The room on the back has plenty of space for a nice kitchen and dining area, and there’s another porch on the back, as well. So much you can do with this – and it comes in a bunch of really gorgeous exterior colors!
