Some things make even overgrown grass look awesome. AMIRITE?

(P.S. Since some folks have asked and since I use it in lots of pics: that grass is from Shade Fantasy Outfitters – I’ve had it since 2008, I believe, and it’s still my favorite to use!)

This lovely backyard retreat is a mish-mash of goodness from a few of my favorite designers. I am still so excited about the first round of TLC’s The Garden – Spring never looked so good! – and it’s been a great inspiration for some pretty awesome (if I do say so myself) vignettes.

The wood pergola and the couch/chair seating are from MudHoney’s Rayvn Hynes. I think I’ve said it before, and I’m sure I’ll say it again – Rayvn is rocking the mesh, and I love seeing each new set she releases. I also really love the little wrinkles she works into her upholstery pieces – see the pillows on the couch! SO REAL. ♥

The massage table and spa set is from Froukje Hoorenbeek of Dutchie – who also rocks the mesh HARD – and I just adore the little details of the tray, above. Hot stones, essential oils, and soothing aromatherapy candles? Yes, please.

Speaking of yes, please — I was SO happy to see that Froukje has released some mesh plants. A whole slew of ‘em! I love including greenery in my rooms, and these are just gorgeous. They’re mod, too, which means I can size them up or down to fit specific spaces. I SUPPORT THAT.

Froukje Hoorenbeek of Dutchie has won my heart once again with her latest release, the Gustavian Bedroom. ♥ The shabby wood textures are just perfect – so shabby! – and the little details and accessories are gorgeous. All the wood pieces are color-changeable, as well, so you get lots of choices of shabby finish. I went with the white wood because I just lovelovelove the vintage feel of it.

Gorgeous detail on the locks of the cases. ♥ Oh! And the bed has different bedding for each different color wood – all lovely!!

One of the most exciting items at this month’s Arcade, in my opinion, is the Teardrop Trailer from Tegan Serin and floorplan. I’m a little biased, sure, since Tegan is my music soul mate, but seriously – look at this preciousness!

That’s just one of the cutest things in all of ever. It’s available in a ton of gorgeous colors that you can try for in the gacha machine, including a few rare options that include a lovely blanket draped across the roof – perfect for gazing up at the stars. The trailers all come with a few cute animations for you, your pals, and your close pals. Perfection!

Also at the Arcade are the Anywhere Lawn Chairs from Winter Thorn and {what next}. These are so nostalgic to me — if you’re old like I am, you remember the days when these were the chairs that everyone had. They left terrible marks on the backs of your legs, and that’s what summer was all about. Right? Anyway, you can play for these at the Arcade – the coolest thing about them is that they truly are “anywhere” chairs. They’re meant to be worn as an attachment so that you always have somewhere to sit, even when you can’t rez a chair. Love it! (Please note these aren’t able to be used as just, you know, regular chairs. You can rez them as props, like I did for the picture, but you can’t sit in them. The sitting only works when you’re wearing them.)

That great campfire and cooking stand is from Froukje Hoorenbeek and Dutchie. She’s got a great mesh set with the campfire, firepit, some lovely logs for sitting around the fire – a great set for your outdoor spaces!

Let’s focus first on the furniture itself. It’s gorgeous. Focus on that. Froukje has created a beautiful classic library with great detail. The fireplace is awesome, and the leather club chairs are just perfect! There are 2 versions of the chair — a male and a female — and I’ve featured the female chair in this post. Both are lovely; the female has a lighter texture and is a little bit softer in design. The leather texture on both chairs is wonderful, though. ♥

Does anyone else lovelovelove that we can now have REAL bookshelves with REAL books, thanks to mesh? Remember the days when a full bookshelf like this would have just been a photo texture of lots of books, without the lovely depth and detail of individual items? TAKE THAT, 2006! These shelves are full of gorgeous books, and are still only 4 prims per bookcase. Yessssssss.

Okay, so speaking of fun and winkyfaces…Froukje has also added her signature touch to this set with a TON of ohmygoodnesswhat animations. I’m too shy to show you the anims in action — of course — but check out just some of the menus.

Ooohhhh new stuff from Froukje Hoorenbeek and Dutchie!! Froukje continues to rock the mesh like whoa – I’m always so excited to see what she comes out with! Right now we have the Teak Canopy Bed set:

I have always been, and always will be, a sucker for a canopy bed. ♥ The Teak Canopy Bed comes with lots of color options for the comforter, as well as a few different wood options for the frame. It ALSO comes in 3 different versions: PG, Adult, and Bondage. OH MY. I’m too timid to try out the bondage version for blog pics, but don’t let that stop you! (And you know who you are.)

That vanity is perfect. I love the classic styling, and I absolutely adore all the little cosmetics and whatnot that Froukje included in there. The whole set is awesome – really great textures and wonderful shading baked right in. Definitely a must-see!
